Courier Safety Campaign
KNOW WHAT YOU CARRY
At uCarry, courier safety and transparency come first. You should always know exactly what you are carrying. This campaign explains how packages are presented, inspected and sealed, and your right to refuse any item.
What Couriers Can Expect Before Accepting a Package
Before you accept any package, uCarry ensures you know exactly what you are carrying. You will be shown the declared item, given the opportunity to inspect it personally, and you always have the right to refuse.
The Five-Step Inspection and Handover Process
From seeing the item to carrying it, you are involved at every step.
SEE IT
The courier is shown the declared item before acceptance.
INSPECT IT
The courier has the opportunity to personally inspect the item and refuse it.
PACK IT
Following approval, the item is placed into designated uCarry packaging in the courier's presence.
SEAL IT
A tamper-evident seal is applied.
CARRY IT
The courier takes possession knowing what was presented and packed.
Your Right to Refuse
You have the right to refuse a package before accepting it.
Important Precautions
Prohibited and Restricted Item Precautions
uCarry does not knowingly accept illegal or prohibited goods. Couriers should be aware that certain items are restricted or prohibited by airlines, airports and destination countries. If you are unsure whether an item is permitted, ask before accepting it.
What to Do If a Seal Is Broken
Do not proceed as normal. Contact uCarry immediately and follow any applicable airline, airport, customs or security instructions.
What to Do When Questioned by Customs or Security
Always cooperate and answer truthfully. uCarry screening never replaces official security or customs requirements.
